Meet Kylie

Kylie Hamacher, MSW, is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern who works with children, teens, and adults, helping them better understand themselves, manage difficult emotions, and build the skills they need to move forward with confidence.

Kylie believes that everyone deserves a space where they can be themselves without fear of judgment. Her work focuses on creating that kind of environment, one where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, expressing their emotions, and recognizing the strengths they already have.

She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, life transitions, grief, self-esteem concerns, substance use, and addiction recovery. Kylie also has experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and sensory processing challenges.

A Little More About Kylie

Kylie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Saint Leo University and went on to pursue her Master of Social Work. Her background also includes certification as a Veterinary Assistant, reflecting her longstanding interest in the connection between people, animals, and emotional well-being.

She has a particular interest in supporting children experiencing grief and trauma and has expressed an interest in the potential role of animals in therapeutic care.

Outside of the therapy room, Kylie enjoys picking fresh fruits and vegetables, playing video games, treating herself to spa days, and listening to music across all genres.
